Mirvac’s Voyager tower is one of the newest developments set within the master planned Yarra’s Edge precinct.

Located on the Docklands waterfront, the 315 apartment development rises 130 metres from the ground, with 43 levels soaring into the sky.

Set for completion in the coming months, Voyager will be the ninth completed tower in the Yarra’s Edge development following the completed Forge just adjacent.

Urban has taken a deeper look and highlighted the top seven attributes of Voyager that should interest buyers.

1. Developed by the All In One Experts, Mirvac

Mirvac is one of Australia's leading, diversified property groups shaping and creating developments across Australia.

From top to bottom Voyager shows off Mirvac’s penchant for quality control, with design and construction also being handled by their in-house teams.

Mirvac have also put a green foot forward as a leading influence amongst developers in the transition towards renewable and sustainable residential projects with a target to become net carbon positive by 2030.

With over 49 years of architecture experience they don't stop at shaping just buildings Mirvac is really about building a community, and it doesn't get much better than Yarra's Edge in Docklands.

2. Live life your way in the Docklands Precinct

Yarra’s Edge is a rare 14.5-hectare inner-city sanctuary located on the north-facing bank of the Yarra River, with strong connectivity to the CBD, Southbank and the future Fishermans Bend precinct.

Nearby there's a selection of cafes and restaurants, from casual cafes to upmarket eateries, including Anchor Eatery, Espressionist Cafe, Hooks at the Yarra, Lorimer Gallery, Mad Duck Café, Pizza Societe and Sassone Italian Restaurant.

There’s plans for a future 1,000 sqm retail hub, which is anticipated to service both the local community and the broader Fishermans Bend and Docklands catchment area.

The YE Marina caters for boats up to 30 metres. It features full services booths with power and water facilities, 24-hour security and wireless internet access.

Part of the Voyager tower will be The Wharf Club – a state-of-the-art health and fitness facility which boasts a pool, spa, steam room, gym, fitness facilities and café.

3. Come home to ease and convenience

Aligning with the building’s sophisticated and elegant residences, a large functional lobby space helps add to the development’s hotel-luxe atmosphere.

The ground floor lobby will be home to the on-site concierge and the lobby gallery.

“The curved surfaces of the lobby reflect the nature of the building, creating a holistic experience from inside to out”, Mirvac Design Director Michael Weiner said.

4. Enjoy luxuries you've never imagined at your fingertips

Featuring an abundance of premium amenities designed for residents and their guests to entertain or retreat, Mirvac has gone all out at Voyager.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the rooftop Skydeck and Bar includes a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces.

Rooftop space includes large rooftop terrace, BBQ, firepit, yoga lawn, bar, dining room with chef's kitchen, theatre/karaoke room.

5. Voyager offers buyers choice

Voyager offers residents the choice between two polished colour schemes, Halcyon and Intrepid.

Halcyon, marketed towards those who “understand sophistication,” features neutral accents, stone benches, metallic finishes and soft tones.

Meanwhile Intrepid explores darker tones, with a different colour scheme for the joinery and benchtops.

The Mirvac Design team’s goal was to create contemporary, versatile residences to suit all lifestyles and life cycles, ensuring Voyager appeals to a broad demographic of purchasers through a diverse range of built form and liveability.

6. Enjoy a Melbourne CBD location with an aspect of the city

As the tallest building to date at Yarra’s Edge, Voyager offers sweeping views across the city skyline and beyond.

Dominating the Docklands skyline, the striking tower’s smooth glass exterior is a beacon catching the eye those coming to Melbourne over the Bolte Bridge.

“The curved façades reflect the changing light as the sun moves on its daily journey, an iconic beacon that welcomes residents home”, Mirvac Design Director Michael Wiener said.

7. Priced affordably for Investors and Owner Occupiers

Comprising 315 apartments, Voyager has a collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments with prices starting as low as $601,500 for a one bedroom apartment.

There is a spread of different sized two bedders on offer with prices starting at $706,500 for a two bedroom, one bathroom apartments and $774,400 for a two bedroom two bathroom apartment.

Three bedroom residences in the Docklands development start around $1.3 million.
