Harry Triguboff's Meriton intends to amend approved plans for an 18 storey development in Dee Why, adding another storey to the mixed-use towers.

Formerly known as the Brookfield Multiplex site, the plot's previous owners had their plans approved in 2008. As works in accordance with those approved plans have been undertaken on the site, the council consent remains active.

Although Meriton plans to build a 19 storey development, the developers plan to keep the towers under the same 78 metre threshold. The company also wants to fit a greater proportion of residences into the site, and make changes to parking provisions and vehicle access.

In 2004, a masterplan with guiding principles for the site's development was put forward, including plans for a new Town Square.

The site is bounded by Oaks Avenue, Howard Avenue and Pittwater Road in Dee Why (pictured above).

The council is accepting public comment on Meriton's proposals until 4 August at their website.

If you're marketing off the plan, you should consider signing up to the Property Observer/Investorist free webinar off the plan marketing masterclass.
