The bustling garden city of Adelaide welcomes its newest apartment development which incorporates environmentally conscious design to consider every resident’s health and wellbeing. ONE/Flinders East, designed by Loucas Zahos rises 23 floors above the city landscape incorporating 120 spacious residences enclosed by a vertically green timber facade.
With the recognition that green space and plants makes people feel better, reduces stress and improves our overall well-being and state of mind, developers Guavalime in collaboration with Loucas Zahos have created a parkland feel within their skyscraper.
The tower is primary positioned in the Flinders East precinct of Adelaide, surrounded by the main green spines and parks in the planned city, adding a public plaza at street level to connect with its surroundings. Providing the perfect balance between environment and city life, ONE is close enough to the Adelaide CBD that in just one or two tram stops, you’ll arrive at iconic locations such as Rundle Mall, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide Convention Centre, The University of Adelaide and the Botanic Gardens.
ONE is unlike any tower complex in the city, with green sanctuaries throughout, vertical gardens painting the sides and eleven beautiful sky parks nestled into the design and spacious apartment living with luxurious amenities attached.
Within the apartments, ONE offers calmness, comfort, security and happiness of home as soon as you enter the lobby with one, two or three bedroom residences designed to include abundant natural light and ventilation.
Living spaces are maximised to minimise clutter, bringing an intuitive flow with practical and efficient floorplans. Generous bench and storage spaces, quality European appliances, gas cooktops and a selection of premium natural finishes add to the sense of style.
The garden aspect heavily featured in this project also extends to each individual balcony with overhanging planter boxes and vertical vines.
Construction of the tower is now complete as of September 2019 with residents moving in.
