When I saw the signs go up for this development I thought it must have been for some commercial cooking/culinary development. Instead it was for apartments. Seriously, who did honks up these silly names for developments? Do they even bother to find out what a word means? CUCINA = KITCHEN. It is an Italian word and consequently a really stupid name for an apartment building in the middle of suburbia.

Ciao Donatella,
Il mio primo pensiero fu che il cibo sarebbe stato delizioso!
The name is to honour, as la cucina 'e il cuore della casa.
As the meeting place, where the magic happens, would you agree?
